Can I change my family site language?
At MyHeritage.com and in Family Tree Builder we support 38 languages. What languages does MyHeritage support?
Family sites can be viewed in any of these 38 languages regardless of the language the Site Manager created the site in.
This is especially beneficial for people who have relatives around the world. Each family member can view the site in his/her native language.
Keep in mind that the site navigation (buttons, menus, etc.) are changed to a different language, but any data you entered on the site will always remain in the language you entered it in. Hey, we can’t do everything…
If you need to change your site language, go to your family site and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. In the lower right hand corner of the screen, you should see a button with a flag icon on it. Clicking on this button will bring up a little pop-up window where you can choose your preferred language.
The blue button will confirm your selection (in case your interface is currently in a language where you can’t distinguish Apply from Cancel).
The language selection button with the flag can be found on every page at MyHeritage.com so don’t worry if you are on a page at MyHeritage.com which is not your family site. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page.
